30 percent decline in economy due to war

The conflict between Russia and Ukraine started in February 2022. Ukraine’s economy has been disrupted due to the long-running war between the two countries. Due to this war, Ukraine is suffering the brunt of about 30 percent decline in its economy. This has been the biggest economic decline for Ukraine in the last 30 years.

After the Ukraine war, India had evacuated 18,000 Indian citizens including students trapped there through ‘Operation Ganga’. This war will complete 2 years in February. A large number of people have died due to the war and the country has faced great devastation. A huge expense has been spent on displacing millions of Ukrainians affected by this.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis has also reiterated that he is ready to do anything to become a member of the 31-member intergovernmental military organization, the European Union and NATO.

During the interview, the Ukrainian Prime Minister also said that other countries should put pressure on Russia to stop the war. He asked Russian President Vladimir Putin to liberate Ukrainian areas.
